Independently bottled by Càrn Mòr, this Linkwood single malt was distilled in 2013, and matured in ex-bourbon barrels. Eight years later, in 2022, the casks were opened, releasing a yield of 937 bottles for Càrn Mòr's Strictly Limited collection.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Nutty toffee and oak char lead, with vanilla honey and stewed fruit in tow.
Palate
Spiced currant buns, biscuity malt, and butterscotch are followed by a gentle build of peppery warmth.
Finish
Praline, oaken vanilla, woody clove, and lingering orchard fruits.
