Single Malt
Scotland
Lp9 from the Elements of Islay range features single malt from a particularly popular Islay distillery (you might be able to figure out which one from its name) matured in a Pedro Ximénez sherry butt, then bottled at cask strength. A great juxtaposition between heavy peat salinity and rich sherried sweetness.
Brandied cherries, TCP, menthol and smoke.
Sea salt and kippers, dark chocolate, continued medicinal peat and fresh red fruit.
Drying smoke and coastal air linger.
