An 18 year old Highland Park, dubbed The Lunar Bottling as it was released to mark the complete cycle of the moon (the Lunar Nutation) which takes 18 3/5 years. Clearly it's no coincidence then that this whisky has also been aged for 18 3/5 years. After it was distilled in 1988, it spent that rather specific amount of time in a sherry cask, and it was bottled in 2006 at 45.1% ABV. The 500 limited bottles come complete with an impressive wooden presentation box.
