Glentauchers 44 Year Old (That Boutique-y Whisky Company) 50cl

That Boutique-y Whisky Company has reached double digits of Glentauchers bottlings, and for its 10th batch, it's gone big with a 44 year old expression! Incredible stuff, and with a neat label showing a bit of history behind the distillery and its experiments with "silent malt" - which is malt whisky distilled in column stills. It was a bit of a thing back in the day, but didn't really catch on and everyone continued using copper pot stills.

Batch 10 is a release of 201 bottles.

‘That Boutique-y Whisky Company’ bottles single malts, single grains and bourbons from a variety of renowned distilleries as well as producing award-winning blended malts and blends. These whiskies are adorned with cultish graphic novel-style labels.
