Description
Here we have an impressive Glenrothes 27 Year Old 1996 vintage Speyside single malt Scotch whisky. It was matured in a single cask hogshead (#4853) and then bottled in July 2023 at 51% ABV by Hannah Whisky Merchants for the Lady of the Glen series. There's just 160 numbered bottles of this one.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Orange peel, nutmeg, dates, toffee apple, and smoky oak char.
Palate
Stewed plums, tangy marmalade, cinnamon, vanilla, and salted caramel.
Finish
Honeyed nuts, creamy malt, and drying oak.
