23 year old single malt from the Glenrothes distillery in Speyside, independently bottled by That Boutique-y Whisky Company. The label features a reference to Biawa 'Byeway' Makalaga, whose ghost was said to have been disturbed when new stills were installed at the distillery in the 1970s. Luckily, he was a rather peaceful ghost and didn't take the form of a marshmallow mascot to stomp around Glenrothes, and he soon went back to his grave after a chat with a university professor Cedric Wilson.
Batch 4 is a release of 430 bottles.

This is like the very best of the Glenrothes Vintages - an extraoordinarily hyperactive malt that jumps out of the glass at you. All Gingerbread and spice. Loverly.
