Description
13 year old single malt Scotch from GlenAllachie! Distilled in 2008, this expression was filled into a single cask, where it remained until 2021 when the folks at indie bottler Duncan Taylor opened up the cask to release a total of 501 bottles.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Sweet notes of toffee apple, chocolate malt biscuits, creamy oak.
Palate
Crisp pear, wafts of milky coffee with some tangy orange zest, and prickles of pepper poking through.
Finish
Gentle spice, a touch of earthen vanilla, oak char, rounded off by soft citrus fruit.
