Hailing from the GlenAllachie distillery, this single malt started its existence in 2007 and after distillation, was filled into a single refill butt to mature. 14 years later, that cask was opened up by the gang at Wemyss Malts, independently releasing a total of 785 bottles.
Sugared citrus peels, creamy vanilla, and zesty honey lead the way, with nutty chocolate in tow.
Honeyed sultanas and juicy pear combine with layers of vanilla fudge, roasted nuts, and oily malt, while oaken spices develop in the depths.
Grassy barley nestles beneath complex layers of spiced fruit, with more nutty oak cradling notes of coffee and cacao.
