Glen Moray 12 Year Old 2007 (cask CM258) - The Golden Cask (House of Macduff)
A 12 year old Glen Moray single malt, independently bottled for the Golden Cask series by House of Macduff! This superb Speysider was distilled back in 2007 and left to age in a bourbon cask, until it was bottled up at cask strength in 2020. Just 204 of these were produced, so if you're a Glen Moray fan (you should be - Glen Moray makes some marvellous whiskies), you might want to snatch one up before they're all gone.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Beeswax, fresh pear and croissants dipped in strong coffee.
Palate
Slightly peppery, though layers of fresh vanilla and peach keep it from getting out of control.
Finish
Lemon meringue pie and custard cream biscuits.
