Description

This 2011 vintage single malt from Glen Garioch spent 12 years maturing, including a finish in an oloroso sherry barrel. A total of 305 bottles join the Glens & Valleys collection from Berry Bros. & Rudd.

Nose

As you approach the glass, the air fills with the scent of autumnal orchards, where apples and pears lie nestled amongst fallen leaves.

Palate

The first sip reveals sun-drenched raisins and dark chocolate, all swathed in the warmth of seasoned oak.

Finish

The Oloroso cask weaves threads of nutty sweetness and spice, atop a sprinkle of cinnamon. This is a journey through the seasons, from the last golden days of summer into the heart of a fireside winter’s evening.
