From Italian indie bottler Hidden Spirits comes a 10 year old single malt distilled by the glorious Glen Garioch. It spent a decade maturing in a single cask, before eventually being bottled at cask strength, with a rather picturesque painting of a hillside road on the label.
Buttery at first, before warming oak spices develop, with a smidge of floral barley brightening things up.
Layers of vanilla and caramel, dotted with apricot and hazelnuts.
Lingering hints of Rich Tea biscuits and toffee.
