A cracking indie bottling of Glen Garioch single malt, released by the clever gang at Duncan Taylor. Distilled in 2011, this expression spent a decade maturing in a single cask, which was eventually opened up in 2022, releasing an outturn of 583 bottles.
Zesty tropical fruits, sweet vanilla, buttered tea cakes, soft oak char.
Roasted walnuts, buttery fudge, and more fragrant vanilla are followed by a hint of cinnamon and dried herbs.
Biscuity, with ginger, toffee, and some crisp, flinty notes beneath.
