Gelston’s owner, Johnny Neill, happens to have a cousin, Sam Neill – yes, actor Sam Neill – who owns a vineyard in New Zealand. So this limited edition Gelston's is a family affair, bringing together the single pot still whiskey with casks from the winery! After 19 months in bourbon casks, the whiskey spent a further 21 months French oak casks from said winery, which previously held Pinot Noir. Some might call it fate.
