Fettercairn 11 Year Old (That Boutique-y Whisky Company)
It's the sixth delicious batch of Fettercairn, independently bottled by the wonderful folks over at That Boutique-y Whisky Company. The 11 year old single malt was bottled at 47.9% ABV, and it looks like those fellas on the label still haven't made it to Fettercairn. We just cairn't believe their luck.
Batch 6 is a release of 860 bottles.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
A muscle, grainy opening makes way for more delicate and lighter notes of vanilla, treacle toffee and squidgy foam strawberry sweets. Marmalade and baking spice develop.
Palate
Another intense beginning that slowly dissipates. Burnt brown sugar, nutty elements and sweet cereals appear, followed by grapefruit bitterness and toasted malt.
Finish
Firm and short, with sparkles of fiery gingery heat.
