Fable Blended Malt Batch 3
The third batch of blended malt from independent bottler Fable. This one comprises a selection of whiskies drawn from a host of bourbon barrels and hogsheads having matured for at least eight years before being blended and bottled in 2022. The label features artwork from illustrator Hugo Cuellar, continuing the tales told in previous batches.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Biscuity malt and apple pastries lead the way, with roasty notes of coffee and Malteasers beneath.
Palate
The orchard fruits carry through to the palate, backed by sweet marmalade, caramel, vanilla, and whispers of bonfire smoke.
Finish
Charred oak, ginger, sooty smoke, and a touch of woody spice.
