Deanston 10 Year Old 2009 (cask 97) - Rest & Be Thankful
This Deanston enjoyed a decade of rest before it got independently bottled by Rest & Be Thankful! It was distilled in September 2009 and left to mature in a bourbon barrel until March 2020, when it was bottled up at cask strength. A release of just 237 bottles.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Apple pie with flaky pastry, softly oaky, floral malt lightness.
Palate
Maple syrup, Frosties cereal, dried cranberries and a hint of toasted barley.
Finish
Citrus oils, a hint of hoppy fragrance and cedar spiciness.
