Delicious Dalmore, bottled by Darkness! yes, it's a Darkness independent bottling of single malt Scotch whisky from the Dalmore Distillery, which has been finished in Oloroso sherry octave casks. Dalmore is well-known for doing very well in a variety of sherry casks, so we're expecting big things here from this one...
Stewed apples, fresh ginger, loads of dried fruit notes with a dusting of cinnamon.
Subtly peppery malt, with waves of chocolatey sweetness and jammy sultana. A smidge of liquorice, too.
Still wonderfully chocolate, with a touch of coffee.
