This single malt from Dailuaine is brought to us by the sherry-loving gang at Darkness! Matured for a total of eight years, the meaty malt enjoyed a finish in a custom-made little amontillado sherry octave. The smaller cask offers greater interaction between the spirit and the wood during maturation for a deliciously complex profile, brimming with honeyed nuts and spiced fruit.

Nose
Crisp orchard fruits, chopped nuts, and some meaty notes of prosciutto.
Palate
Big and bold, with biscuity malt and floral honey opening the way for toasted almonds and chocolate-coated caramels.
Finish
Waves of stewed spiced fruit, hazelnut, creamy custard, Horlicks, and fudge.
