Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Nose There's custard notes familiar from the 40% ABV expression, though now paired with more citrus, pear and fudge cubes you get in sea-side sweet shops.

Palate Toffee chunks with a little bit of dark chocolate hidden inside. A touch of grassy malt and crushed nuts.

Finish A final hint of caramel and golden malt.

Ultimate Value for Money
What a belter for the price. Notes of black treacle, nuts & at 50% abv packs a punch. You won't find a better whisky at this price level.

Fantastic blended whisky!!
I've always fancied trying the cutty Sark blend I haven't a great deal of money so this seemed like a good option! Wow and I glad I did,being 50% instead of the usual 40 has really made a difference! The flavour profile is now really pronounced so you get a chance to appreciate the different elements each whisky brings to this blend! I've found it quite floral definitely getting that custard note along with a destinct banana element going on!
I think all blends should be of this strength because going by this the higher abv really brings out the full flavour and that's something a lot of other blends could benefit from!
Great whisky, fantastic price and will definitely be buying again!

Amazing
Had this a few years ago but didn't get it then. Now the second time... It's really good whisky. Better than most single malts! The higher ABV really brings more character to this. Amazing stuff. A new favorite blended

This is an absolute steal. Flavours of pepper and toffee sweetness and at 50% its got a bit of an edge. Highly recommend.

Best blended scotch I've had
I wonder why there is so little blended whisky out there thate above 40%...this is magical, by far the best price to taste and experience i have ever found.

Christmases of yore
This dram takes me right back to Christmases of yore. It's the sort of 'special' bottle that my dad would get in. It's smooth enough to sip neat and it's a very more-ish whisky indeed. Being 50% abv it's a good mixer too - if you like wasting your good stuff!
