‘That Boutique-y Whisky Company’ bottles single malts, single grains and bourbons from a variety of renowned distilleries as well as producing award-winning blended malts and blends. These whiskies are adorned with cultish graphic novel-style labels.
Buttery whisky tablet fudge, peanut brittle and marzipan icing initially, before soft pears and apple peels emerge. Coastal air brings salinity in the backdrop.
Prickles of nutmeg liven the core of damp earth, charred oak and vintage cider apples. Sticky toffee pudding adds a thick, rich sweet note alongside a hint of salted pretzels.
Winter spice fizzes away in a lengthy finish.

Now a little addicted to Bunnahabhavin. Went there 15 years ago and wasn’t that convinced, now one of my go tos. This one is great.
