Single Malt

A limited edition Bunnahabhain, distilled back in the year 2007. Initially, the single malt was filled into refill casks, though before bottling it spent two and a half years finishing in French brandy butts. Eventually, in April 2019 the Islay whisky was bottled at cask strength, weighing in at 52.5% ABV with an outturn of 2,764 bottles. An intriguing dram thanks to the fruity influence of the brandy casks, it's baked goods galore in this rich whisky.
Apple crumble with a generous helping of cinnamon, with orange peel, fruit cake, and decadent Mississippi mud pie with a good dollop of vanilla cream on the side, tempered by a toasted nutty note.
Rice pudding with chocolate shavings, leading into fresher tropical fruit, with mango and apricot jam. Lots of syrupy orchard fruits appear, alongside buttery pain au chocolat, even some pain au raisin in there, and a helping of praline.
Clear brandy influence on the finish, with dried fruit and buttery caramel, with rich mocha and Curiously Cinnamon cereal lingering.
