Bruichladdich 23 Year Old (That Boutique-y Whisky Company)
And along the conveyor belt comes... The fourth batch of Bruichladdich single malt bottled by That Boutique-y Whisky Company, which is a 23 year old whisky! As with the previous batches, the Laddie behind the conveyor belt is having to memorise a whole bunch of items, most of which are references to the many releases from the Bruichladdich distillery on Islay. However, it looks like the cuddly toy has become transparent...
Batch 4 is a release of 285 bottles.
‘That Boutique-y Whisky Company’ bottles single malts, single grains, blended malts, blends and bourbons from a variety of renowned distilleries. These whiskies are adorned with cultish graphic-novel-style labels.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Reminiscent of a chicken sandwich on rye bread or chicken parmigiana, becoming fruitier with whole raspberries.
Palate
Coconut milk, candied flowers, mint (mint choc chip?), pralines and barley.
Finish
Long with cocoa and then a full Mississippi mud pie developing.
