Seven year old single malt from the Royal Brackla Distillery, which has been independently bottled for The Cooper's Choice range. This whisky began life back in February 2014, when it was distilled and filled into an American oak cask. It was given a finishing period in a Madeira wine cask, and eventually bottled in 2021 with an outturn of 324 bottles.
Nose: Fresh melon and apple, with a drizzle of thyme honey.
Palate: Flaky pastry and cooked red berries, followed by a kick of black pepper.
Finish: Enjoyably oaky, with tangy sherried fruit in support.
