Description
This single malt from Blair Athol was distilled in 2011 and matured for 11 years, including a 17-month finish in a refill oloroso sherry hogshead. A total of 244 cask strength bottles were independently released by James Eadie in 2024.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Poached orchard fruits and sweet spices lead the way, with a touch of peppery oak developing in time.
Palate
Sweet layers of apple crumble and pear pastries, backed by delicate citrus zest, juicy apricots, and peppercorns.
Finish
Stewed fruits linger, with a touch of herbaceous tea alongside rich, leathery oak.
