Independently bottled single malt from the Bladnoch distillery, matured for 26 years before being bottled for our very own Single Cask Series range! This was distilled in 1990 and bottled in December 2016 without any chill-filtration or additional colours - and at cask strength too (an impressive 63.2% ABV).
Oily oak, freshly-squeezed orange juice developing into tropical mango notes. Soon enough, hints of hard cheese and earthy tomato stem develop.
Very fruity up front. Swiftly turns spicy (it is 63.2%!) with rye and black pepper crackers. Hints of mint chocolate appear with a few drops of water.
Red chilli chutney, Wine Gums and a pinch of sea salt.
