Behold, Bladnoch's 2021 release of its 11 year old single malt Scotch whisky! This expression is matured exclusively in ex-bourbon casks, imparting a wealth of deliciously creamy, vanilla-rich notes. Master distiller Dr. Nick Savage picks these casks out specially for these releases, so you can expect wonderous things here.
Nose: Honeydew melon, melted butter on crumpets, lemongrass, a hint of pine oil.
Palate: Vanilla ice cream with caramel sauce, more grassy freshness, subtle cinnamon and nutmeg.
Finish: Toffee and honeycomb last.
