Balmenach 8 Year Old (That Boutique-y Whisky Company)
Eight year old single malt from the Balmenach Distillery, independently bottled by That Boutique-y Whisky Company. This one was given a finishing period in Oloroso sherry casks before being bottled up, with labels showing the future of internet-based whisky browsing. That's what you've got to look forward to in like 25 years. Maybe 20 if we're lucky and can figure out how to reverse-engineer this light-cycle that we... Y'know what, never mind, forget we said anything.
Batch 11 is a release of 95 bottles.
‘That Boutique-y Whisky Company’ bottles single malts, single grains and bourbons from a variety of renowned distilleries as well as producing award-winning blended malts and blends. These whiskies are adorned with cultish graphic novel-style labels.

Nose
Orange zest, buttery malt, greengages, and a smidge of woody spice.
Palate
Millionaire's shortbread, honeyed sultanas, a hint of coffee bean and cardamom spiciness.
Finish
Sweet tropical fruit brightness.
