22 year old single malt from the Aultmore Distillery, wonderfully well-sherried after a finishing period in an Oloroso sherry octave cask! Released as part of the Darkness range, expect plenty of dried fruit and cacao notes from this one...
Nose: Softly oaky, with sultana and raisin sweetness. Vanilla pod and new leather.
Palate: Dried pineapple, melted chocolate with a touch of cacao bitterness, subtle red chilli flake heat.
Finish: Orange oil and a touch of mature oak.
