Aultmore 21 Year Old – Batch 14 (That Boutique-y Whisky Company) (37.5cl)
Behold, we've got our hands on another awesome Aultmore bottling from That Boutique-y Whisky Company! This one was given 21 years of maturation, before it was independently bottled up at 47.8% ABV. It's presented in smaller 37.5cl bottles, but that doesn't make the battle between the shark and the velociraptor on the label any less fierce.
Batch 14 is a release of 259 bottles.
‘That Boutique-y Whisky Company’ bottles single malts, single grains and bourbons from a variety of renowned distilleries as well as producing award-winning blended malts and blends. These whiskies are adorned with cultish graphic novel-style labels.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Sponge cake, cigar box leading into earthy barley, a smidge of coconut ice.
Palate
Banana bread and fresh orange, with warming oak running through the core.
Finish
Slightly grassy on the finish, with some balancing blackberry sweetness.
