This single malt from Aultmore spent 15 years maturing, beginning in a host of bourbon hogsheads and finishing in a combo of Pedro Ximénez sherry and Amarone casks. The whisky was independently by Murray McDavid in 2024 to join its Benchmark collection.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Nose Sweet notes of baked, spiced apples, burnt biscuits, and stewed berries.

Palate Juicy layers of honeyed dates, rich barley, toffee, and poached pear.

Finish Dustings of cinnamon join layers of oily malt, with leathery old oak and sweet spices lingering.
