Auchroisk 10 Year Old

This single malt lies at the heart of the Auchroisk range, it being the only official bottling. Released in the Flora and Fauna series in 2001, having previously been marketed as The Singleton of Auchroisk.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Nose Light, with a playful zestiness. Crème anglaise, cut grass and delectable nuttiness creep in.

Palate Quite sweet with a pleasant softness.

Finish Soft, dry green cereal notes.

Very good
This is a new one for me, but I am very impressed. To be honest, it is not that great on the nose, but the flavour is outstanding. You really can taste the wood. And the flavour lingers. I will be buying more of this.

First time I’ve ever disliked a F&F
Not sure if I just got unlucky with a poor batch but this was really bad. Harsh, artificial, had an almost carbonated essence to it. Also, I don’t mind a scotch with a “perfumed” influence to it; but I don’t want it to actually taste like perfume! All in all, a disappointment
