Ardmore 7 Year Old 2011 - Strictly Limited (Càrn Mòr)
This 7 year old single malt from the Ardmore Distillery was aged in a pair of bourbon barrels from 2011 to 2019, before being bottled as part of the Càrn Mòr Strictly Limited bottling range. As you might expect from the name, once the bottles are gone, they are very much gone.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Soft whiffs of salty smoke, while peach and vanilla sit at the core.
Palate
A slow build of cinnamon and clove (and a touch of smoked paprika, too). Thyme honey and peanut brittle.
Finish
Hickory, drying smoke.
