Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Nose Zesty, with sweet candied orange wheels, dipped in dark chocolate, plump sultanas, and sticky ginger loaf.

Palate Dried, sherried fruits and baking spices aplenty, with rich, charred oak and marmalade.

Finish Sweet spices linger, joined by gingerbread, cacao, and a tickle of pepper.

Very different for A'bunadh
This is the first of ten batches (all time favorite 50) that I wouldn't gift to anyone. It's wholly different from all the batches I own, not the sherry-wood-forward I expect. Spicy, (another review said spearmint), I would add astringent and sharp. While I have enjoyed my other A'bunadh neat without water, a few drops improves this one immensely.
