Nose Plenty of creamy Oloroso sherry, with chocolate raisins, dates, Peychaud's bitters, hints of smoke, maybe a touch of cured meat.
Palate Big, big, big! Just awash with a massive attack of colossal spices, morello cherries, sherry, dates, figs, maybe even a cognac-like flavour.
Finish Long, spices, very hot spices this time, almost like black pepper like.
Overall One of the best value for money malts to be had in Speyside, and indeed the world.
