A first-fill bourbon barrel is what this single malt from Aberlour spent 11 years maturing in after it was distilled in 2011. So you've got plenty of lively bourbon character coming through, with biscuity grain, and some soft florals too. This Speyside Scotch whisky was independently bottled in 2023 for the Strictly Limited Collection from Càrn Mòr. An outturn of 1,245 bottles at 47.5% ABV.

Nose
Oat cookies, subtle peach, caramel, and woody spice.
Palate
Baked apple, crumbly shortbread, and a touch of Turkish delight.
Finish
Peppery spice and milk chocolate.
