An independently-bottled blended malt from A.D. Rattray. It's a spooned whisky, meaning that it's predominantly made with one single malt, along with a tiny helping of single malt from another distillery. This 6 year old expression was drawn from a single sherry butt, producing 509 bottles.
Spicy malt and smoked meat, followed by a lingering caramel sweetness.
Custard Cream biscuits, toasted oak with a good whack of phenolic smoke, a pinch of sea salt.
