Iwagawa Distillery
This sweet potato shochu is produced at the historic Iwagawa Jozo distillery in Japan's Kagoshima prefecture. Distilled using black koji and locally grown sweet potatoes, it's aged in traditional earthenware pots, condensing the sweet depth of the potatoes. Refined and fragrant, with notes of mellow citrus, orchard fruits, blossom, and elegant honey sweetness, try it neat, over ice, or with a splash of cold or warm water.
Fragrant, fruity, floral, with zesty citrus peels, crisp orchard fruits, blossom and petals, lychee, set honey, and balanced acidity.
