i am a whisky drinker.. BUT this rum is frigging good.. very complex nose .. smooth taste due the 7 years of age in the barrel, fruity.. banana, BIG time caramel/toffee and hints of cola.. .. finish is humble medium length

Strange and beautiful
Crazily one of my favourite mixing rums. Unique flavour profile makes it difficult to pass by. Initial flavour of industrial plastic quickly gives way to deep rich vanilla and demerara. Definitely not the choice of a connoisseur and I'm sure its nowhere near 7 years old, but I love it.

Balanced and flavorfull
Vanilla and spice and everything nice.. this is perfectly balanced and no flavour is in your face kinda... Smooth and flavorful.. with long aftertaste

old monk rum is fascinating to the connoisseur! the best in the world definitely better than its Jamaican counterpart! diet coke with ice is the best mixer. The aroma is deluxe and strong. After drinking this rum ull forget the others!!!
