The first tipple to come from Edinburgh's Port of Leith Distillery has arrived in the shape of Lind & Lime Gin! The name is inspired by Dr. James Lind of Edinburgh, who conducted one of the first clinical trials aboard the HMS Salisbury. In these trials, he noted that the scurvy patients eating citrus fruits were showing good signs. Hence the addition of lime within this gin. To balance the powerful citrus freshness, the distillers also used pink peppercorn alongside five other botanicals (including juniper) to create the recipe.
Bright citrus, fresh and authentic. Juniper is oily and subtly spicy, bolstered by pepper and cardamom warmth.
It's delicious, I love lime and visited Edinburgh last year staying at Leith which was lovely. Tried it, loved it and had to bring some home.

Am normally a pure whisky fiend but a got a bottle o this fae the burd an it's nae bad likes!! Doesnee smell like dettol fae a start, an that puts it aheed o 90% a the gins a've imbibed. Quality tipple!
I don’t want to set an unfair expectation here, but I ordered x6 bottles and they were delivered within 4 hrs by a charming young man to my door! The gin is delicious and the beautiful bottle design makes it a perfect gift with a great wow factor.
Wonderful taste. You can really taste the lime Not too sweet. Fabulous, my favourite gin. Combined with clementine tonic it cannot be beaten.
