Here we have a new, snazzy bottling of Crabbie's 1891 Old Tom Gin, bottled at the slightly lower strength of 40.2% ABV. The name is a nod to the fact that the recipe was created by John Crabbie himself back in 1891! The sweeter gin was also rested in oak casks before bottling, and it's a winner in cocktails.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Creamy vanilla and warming citrus peels, with fresh juniper and a hint of eucalyptus.
