The GlenWyvis GoodWill Gin was launched in 2018, created using a selection of nine botanicals, with particular attention paid to the locally sourced hawthorn berries. The botanicals are soaked in neutral spirit for 24 hours before being distilled, resulting in an expression that balances delicate fruit with classic robust juniper.
Fresh orange and ground almond, followed by oak-y juniper giving it a powerful backbone. Subtly floral wafts of angelica and orris arrive later on.
I tasted this gin in a bar in Inverness whilst on holiday. The barman served it with orange peel and coriander. He warmed the orange peel with a lighter. Served with Fever tree light tonic, it was deliciously smooth with citrus flavours and a warming spiced finish. I will look to buy a bottle soon
I tried this after I read it got an award from IWSC. It is really smooth and has a nice finish.

Straightforward classic gin profile, with some juniper, citrus peel, coriander, as well as a hint of lemon grass.
