Dr. J's Gin

Dr. J's Gin features a small but flavoursome selection of botanicals, including the likes of juniper, coriander, orange, lemon, and macadamia nut. Produced by the English Spirit Distillery from scratch (including using its own base spirit made from East Anglian sugar beets), Dr. J's Gin has been enjoyed in cocktails and mixed drinks for many years now. Saying that, it's also well-suited to being simply sipped neat or over ice!

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Nose Clean and herbal nose with a distinct sweetness. There are citrus notes too, particularly Seville oranges.

Palate A creamy start with more orange flavours amid the juniper and coriander notes.

Finish A dry finish after the original sweet entrance, with some acidity.

Overall A fresh, clean tasting gin that offers something different to the big name brands.

Poor
Very harsh and tastes overly of coriander, awful packaging too and very overpriced. So many better gins on the market.

Found this at a local Christmas market and fell in love! Lovely fresh taste and a bit different to the mass-produced stuff.

Highly recommended
Had it as recommended on the bottle. 1:1 with tonic, with a couple of capers. Utterly delicious.

Fabulous
The best gin I have ever tasted, why can't I buy it in shops or pubs? We stumbled across it at a point to point meet at a gin tent so glad we did.
