The delicious Death's Door gin is incredibly simple, only featuring three botanicals (and that's including the juniper!). However, it still packs a brilliant flavour and is bottled at a higher abv than most gins, making it perfect for Martinis. This bottling is made from the 2010 harvest of organic red winter wheat from Washington Island, Wisconsin, USA.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Nose Delicately aromatic. Soft juniper and vibrant coriander.

Palate Spicy dryness from the coriander and hints of citrus, despite none being featured in the botanical selection. Magic?!

Finish Very long.

Overall Simple, but every flavour is vivid and full.

Great Unique Gin
A friend of mine brought me a bottle of this Gin, as he lives in Wisconsin. It is smooth and delicious. I pick up a distinct note of anise on top of all of the other flavors. It is great for a distinctive taste in a cocktails. Normally I love Plymouth and Bombay Sapphire, but both of those are more smooth and subdued compared to this one. I think this is a great bottle, don't hesitate.
