Monker's Garkel Gin
The team at Bristol's Circumstance Distillery put their faith in robots to make Monker's Garkel Gin. No, really. Circumstance teamed up with technology scientists Tiny Giant and Rewrite Digital who created a neural network fed on fed information on botanicals, recipes, labels and the like, and in the end it created Monker's Garkel Gin! It features juniper, angelica, coriander, clementine zest, orange zest, prune, gooseberry, raspberry leaf, and marigold flowers among its botanicals, and the neural network (charmingly called Ginette) even came up with the name!
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Wonderful floral and fragrant, with wafts of citrus and dried fruit developing. Juniper is subtly oily, and lends a spicy element alongside the coriander.
