Camino Gin takes inspiration from the Camino de Santiago, the various routes taken to reach the Santiago de Compostela Cathedral and its shrine to Saint James the Great. It features a bustling botanical selection of 17 botanicals, 13 of which are native to the French Way of the Camino de Santiago. Very snazzy bottles too, mind.
Rather bright with punnets of ripe red berries and citrus, balanced by herbaceous juniper and whiffs of lavender.
Luckily managed to get my hands on a bottle before Christmas and fair to say one of the best gins I’ve tasted. Once shipping to the continent reopens this is first on my restocking list! Would recommend to anyone.
Small Batched and handcrafted,I found Camino Gin at a friend s house and what a delights!! This gin has 17 botanicals and you can enjoy every single one from the moment you open the bottle. I found out about its shape and story , Camino Gin is a homage to the Camino de Santiago. Created by a pilgrim . A must try and certainly one to keep and enjoy with or without friends. I am extremely happy with it and happily compare it with gin Mare as they both have incredibley wonderful botanicals . Enjoy yours.
Transported me right back to my camino. Chilled & neat it is smooth. Over ice with a twist of lemon & 50/50 with tonic,one is never enough.
