Single Cask Bathtub Gin - Manhattan Meta-Bitters Cask (That Boutique-y Gin Company)
Here we see the fourth batch of Bathtub Gin bottled by That Boutique-y Gin Company. Previous batches were aged in Palo Cortado, Pedro Ximenéz and Ardbeg whisky casks. The natural progression for the fourth batch is to mature it in a cask which previously held Bitter Bastards Manhattan Meta-Bitters, of course!
Batch 4 is a limited release of 100 bottles.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Orange oil, caramel biscuits and a spicy kick of Christmas-y spices.
Palate
Vanilla and warming oak. Dried juniper and more hints of jammy orange.
Finish
A hint of herbaceous vermouth lingers alongside cinnamon and lemon.
Overall
This just calls out to be enjoyed in a Negroni!
