Produced on the breathtaking Isle of Skye, this tremendous gin boasts a brilliant balance of botanicals to reflect these wild surroundings. Earthen juniper brings a peppery warmth with soft wafts of coastal salinity to balance. Great mixed with tonic, garnished with fresh herbs.
Zesty with sweet orange and tangy lemon peels, crunchy, drying juniper brings an oily texture, with hints of seaweed, lavender, and warming peppercorns.
This is a beautifully balanced gin, the botanicals shine through complimenting each other harmoniously. A crisp and fresh mouth feel with a lingering warmth after. This is now my favourite go to for a G&T after discovering it a few months ago. Whilst 57° SKYE Earth & Sea is a newcomer to the gin market this distillery is doing great things! Have loved trying out the recommended cocktails on their website - the Hanky Panky is my go to recipe after reading about it! The packaging is also attractive echoing the cleanness of the gin in design but bringing in it's Scottish heritage with the topography of Skye embossed on the label. Would make a great gift - or gift even to self!
Beautiful refreshing gin. Perfect way to unwind on a cold and windy Scottish evening. Brings back memories of the unique and rugged Isle of Skye itself.
Delicious. Very clean, a really fresh solid gin with some lovely berry flavours. I drank with ice, regular tonic and a slice of grapefruit.
Loved this- tastes like the seaside! Its a really fresh flavour, could get citrus and seaweed. I had straight up with tonic & lemon, not tried cocktails but think it would make a good martini
