Soggy Dollar rum is made for the world famous Soggy Dollar Bar. The beach bar located in White Bay on the island of Jost Van Dyke in the British Virgin Islands and is known for being the birthplace of the Painkiller, a popular Caribbean cocktail made with rum, coconut cream, pineapple juice, and orange juice, topped with freshly grated nutmeg. A popular destination for both sailors and tourists, the bar gets its unique name from the fact that sailors often swim ashore from their anchored boats, paying for their drinks with wet money, hence the "Soggy Dollar."
