Oude Molen VSOP Brandy

A marvellous VSOP brandy from South Africa's Oude Molen, matured for at least five years before bottling. Oude Molen has been in the brandy business since 1910, originally in Stellenbosch, but these days the distillery is situation in Elgin (the one in South Africa, obviously, not the one in Scotland). Deliciously fruit-forward, with oak spices building on the palate, and a bittersweet finish of rich dark chocolate.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Apples, apricots, red grapes, and oranges. Cassia, anise, dark chocolate mousse, a hint of sandalwood.
