Sorry about this...

We can't actually ship The Irishman 70 to the United States at the moment (although we're working hard to fix that).

In the meantime, our friends over at The Whisky Shop might be able to help you out.

Irishman 70 Bottling Note

A beautiful Irish whiskey, made by blending old pot still whisky with 70% malt whisky which was selected by Bernard Walsh. Aged in bourbon casks, this is a creamy, sweet and supple gem!

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Nose: Sweet and spicy, with hints of caramel, black pepper, stewed fruits, cinnamon and peaches. Loads of vanilla too, and a hint of sweet charred oak.

Palate: Malt, chocolate digestives, vanilla yoghurt, tangy oak, tropical fruits and creme caramel.

Finish: Medium length, with oak and butterscotch.

Irishman 70 Reviews

The Irisman - not my favourite

I've just opened my 1st Irishman 70. In my opinion this is lightweight whiskey. Taste will not stay mouth for long time. After 2 glasses I would say "Its like vodka colored with mix of teabags". Most of the Irish whiskeys are fine for me but I think I will not buy another Irishman. Probably all bad feedback because of my flu...

Mr.Marty L.

A true value when compared to other Irish Whiskeys. Indeed, it is comparable to the best Irish whiskeys on the market.

Soo smooth

Fruity, pear, smooth, young. Lacks depth and complexity. Good for mixing with coke. Will not buy again

Great stuff

What a little gem to find. Got it on special for $30 NZD, usually $40, & so glad I did. Not only was it affordable but instantly become one of the top 3 Irish drams so far. So light, so smooth, so easy to drink. Beats 90% of my singles malt scotches that cost 3 or 4 times that.

lucky it's so available here in Pennsylvania...and at a discount

second bottle....and it's the new bottle (and slight name change....Founders Reserve?)

a really rich whiskey that opens up after the bottle has been touched a few times. blows away most typical 'uisce''s thick enough, tangy enough, sweet enough, mellow enough. very balanced. the malt really shines. and the pot still adds a unique dimension. better than plenty of single malt scotches. and this IS a blend. wow. usually $30+ here in this on sale for $25 or so....

Great stuff

Usually I don't care much irish whiskeys because lack of smokiness, but this is great stuff. That spicy creaminess makes this whiskey stand out.
70 % malt whiskey and it shows!

Another Interesting Irish Whisky

This one is something a little different when compared to usual Irish Whisky. Nose and palate are quite interesting, but finish passes away soon and has some quality in it, that i don't like that much. Should work well with strong black coffee.

Very good

A quite unique whiskey with blend of pot still and single malt. Rich and balanced, though it would better at 46 % and no added color. Too bad it's so hard to find.
